Played in the days before stats like tackles & sacks, but had a productive 9 years with 15 Int’s. Played 8 of his 9 seasons in Cincy before tasting a cup of coffee in St Louis before calling it quite. Totaled 125 games.
One of only 2 Bengals drafted in the 5th round with a decent “career average” rating from Pro Football Reference. Had a 58 rating (the third place person has a 25, and it gets worse from there).

Barney Bussey DB, 1984 (#119 overall)

A backup defensive back for 7 seasons in Cincy, he spent his final 3 seasons in Tampa with 2 of them as a LB. Played in 144 career games, starting 45 of them.
Finished with 367 tackles, 10 Int’s, and 13.0 sacks

Tom DeLeone C, 1972 (#106 overall)

Ohio kid via Ravenna and Ohio State, played 2 seasons in Cincy as a backup before having a long & productive career for the Browns. Played 13 total seasons in the NFL and 176 games (most of any 5th round pick by Cincy).
One of only 2 Bengals drafted in the 5th round with a decent “career average” rating from Pro Football Reference. Had a 49 rating (the third place person has a 25, and it gets worse from there).

Only once topped 300 yards rushing in his career.

Finished with 18 total TD’s and 2,526 total yards with a 4.3 ypc.
Had 1 good season in 1989 as a kick returner averaging 25.5 yards per return.

Was the Bengals’ punter for 10 seasons with a career average of 41.9, and twice led the league in punting average with 43.1 in 1978 and 45.4 in 1981 (which was his pro-bowl year).
Made 700 total punts for 29,307 yards with a career long of 67 yards.
As a WR he caught 57 balls for 808 yards and 5 TD’s in his career.
