Janoris Jenkins interview published in time for the 2012 NFL Draft.

Does this interview help Jenkins draft stock or push him farther down the boards?

When asked about his marijuana issues:

"I was just being a college student, I'm pretty sure there were more guys than me that smoked. I just got caught."

His four children:

"It's weird because I had those kids while I was playing college football and it didn't affect me not once, I'm proud to have my four kids. If they want to throw that in my face, so be it. Everybody has kids. Where in the book does it say you can't have kids? It doesn't say that in the law. I'm a great father. I'm there whenever they need me."

What he is doing to stay in shape for the upcoming NFL season:

"We're working out on our own, lifting weights and doing football stuff, Why am I not with a trainer? There's no reason. I'm just not with one."

How Jenkins believes his NFL dream will play out:

"It's a big difference in money, but wherever I get drafted, I'll be thankful for it, Whoever gets me is going to get a blessing. I'm a great guy. When I get to the league, I'll be working for my second contract. I know I'm the best cornerback in the draft and I'll get the money eventually."

Former North Alabama coach, Terry Bowden said, "He came to right some wrongs and he did a good job of fitting in with our program." Bowden also states that Jenkins passed every drug test at North Alabama while remaining trouble free. Although Jenkins admitted during his NFL Combine interviews that he kept using marijuana at North Alabama.
