After selecting Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick at No. 17, the Bengals swapped first-round picks with the New England Patriots, pushing Cincinnati's second first-round selection to No. 27. The Bengals also acquired New England's No. 93 pick, which is the 30th selection in the third round.
Now the Bengals will have ten draft picks this year, including multiple selections in the first, third and fifth rounds.
It's the first trade-day trade since 2004 when the Bengals traded out of the No. 24 spot, eventually drafting running back Chris Perry.
