According to his twitter account, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Tyler Hansen signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. Hansen completed 231 passes for 2,883 yards passing, 20 touchdowns (against 11 picks) for a quarterback rating of 125.5.
Hansen was rated as the 24th-best quarterback coming into the NFL draft, according to ESPN's Scout Inc service. Hansen worked out with Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn in Denver earlier this year, preparing for the NFL draft this weekend (not sure if that's a good thing to bring up).
However Hanson did throw for a school-record 474 yards passing during a 36-33 overtime loss to California on September 10, 2011, completing 28 passes and generating three touchdowns.
