Earlier this week we pointed out a Tony Pauline posting in which the writer for Sports Illustrated and DraftInsider.net wrote that Marvin Lewis was hoping Alabama linebacker/defensive end Courtney Upshaw would be available for the team's second first-round selection. The interest is more than hopeful daisy's and fairy-tales.
According to the late-night and hard-working Joe Reedy with the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Cincinnati Bengals played host to Upshaw on Wednesday.
Brockers wasn't the only defensive prospect of note visiting the #bengals. Alabama LB Courtney Upshaw was here on Wednesday
We can't project what exactly the Bengals would do with Upshaw -- defensive end, linebacker, part-time this year and next year's starter. But don't you get the feeling that Cincinnati will select two defensive players during this year's draft in the first round?
