Former Bengals Defensive Tackle Jason Shirley Released By Carolina Panthers

In a somewhat unusual and surprising move, former Bengals defensive tackle Jason Shirley has been released by the Carolina Panthers. Shirley was vying for a spot on the Panthers' 53-man roster and he seemed like a lock to make it. Apparently Carolina has other plans.
