UPDATE: Geoff Hobson later noted that Clements has a pulled abdominal muscle and will be missing this set of OTAs. Clements said that he's hoping to return by the next OTA session in June.
According to Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com, cornerback Nate Clements isn't working on Tuesday to kickoff the first round of OTAs. Hobson tweets that "indications" are that he has a "muscle pull". Players have been able to workout on their own for the past week, which is where the 32-year old may have pulled said muscle.
Recent free agent signings Jason Allen and Terence Newman were expected to replace Leon Hall early this offseason while, we presume, Dre Kirkpatrick works his way into the starting lineup.
#bengals....Clements not working...indications has s muscle pull.
