I know there's still a long time until the season starts, but i just want to put this out there since its pretty cool to look at all the position and the battle that are happening already
(25)Offense
(2)QB: Andy Dalton, Bruce Gradkowski
(1)FB: Chris Pressley
(4)RB: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Bernard Scott, Brian Leonard, Cedric Peerman
(3)TE: Jermaine Gresham, Orson Charles, Donald Lee
(2)LT: Andrew Whitworth, Anthony Collins
(2)LG: Travelle Wharton, Clint Boling
(1)C: Kyle Cook
(2)RG: Kevin Zeitler, Otis Hudson
(2)RT: Andre Smith, Dennis Roland
(6)WR: A.J. Green, Armon Binns, Jordan Shipley, Mohamed Sanu, Marvin Jones, Andrew Hawkins
- On Offense: We all know what Dalton, Green, and Gresham can do. On the other hand, we are a work in progress on the Offense of line since we are adding TWO new players on the Interior so it will take some time, but with a Full Off-Season I think we can fix that problem and get it over with. As for the RB's I think Peerman edges out Herron due to Special Team Value. For the WR's it was pretty hard to pick who stays and go, I decided to go with this group because if you look at it, Sanu can play all 3 spots, Jones can back-up Binns and Shipley can hold the slot and Hawkins is the X-Factor with his speed and value on Special Teams and Kick Return skills
(25)Defense
(2)LDE: Carlos Dunlap, Robert Geathers
(2)RDE: Michael Johnson, Jammal Anderson
(2)NT: Domata Peko, Pat Sims
(3)DT: Geno Atkins, Brandon Thompson, Devon Still
(2)WLB: Thomas Howard, Vincent Rey
(2)MLB: Rey Maualuga, Rodderick Muckelroy
(2)SLB: Manny Lawson, Dan Skuta
(6)CB: Leon Hall, Nate Clements, Adam Jones, Jason Allen, Terrence Newman, Dre' Kirkpatrick
(2)FS: Reggie Nelson, Jeromy Miles
(2)SS: Taylor Mays, George Illoka
-On Defense, this was the hardest choice for me. I mean looking at the roster and depth chart, everyone offer something different and a different dimension to the team. So i decide to go with this group. The Front 7 has a lot of big body players to clog and get pressure up the middle, with Still, Thompson and Atkins also with the young up and coming DE's in Johnson and Dunlap. The LB corp is pretty hard to figure out as well. I mean do we move Vontaze to the 53? Keep him on the PS? I think the 6 LB I have on the team is good, Howard and Lawson are getting comfortable, Skuta and Rey are Special Team Ace and Muckelroy can play all 3 LB spot. The DB's was the worst of them all, in terms of cutting players and keeping players. I decide to keep 6 CB's because we can either move Allen or Clements to Safety and have Hall, Jones ,Newman and Kirkpatrick at the CB..Which is more flexible for all of us...Also the Safeties are set in my opinion. Nelson is the leader of the Safety, If Mays can get it right then we might not need another SS for a few years down the road and Illoka is a perfect back-up who can come in and help out on Special teams, and we all know what Miles can bring to the table.
(3)Special Teams
(1)K: Mike Nugent
(1)P: Kevin Huber
(1)LS: Clark Harris
- On Special Team, Why break their bond?? When they are getting it together, But i wouldnt mind to get another Punter to push Huber to be his best.
(1)Suspension
Dontay Moch LB
(8)Practice Squad
Dan "Boom" Herron RB
Brandon Ghee CB
Robert Sands FS
Shaun Prater CB
Tyler Hansen QB
Ryan Whalen WR
Vontaze Burficit LB
DeQuin Evans DE/LB
Other Possible Candidates
Taveon Rogers WR
Reggie Stephens C/G
Zac Robinson QB
Tony Dye SS
Vaughan Meatoga DT
-On Practice Squad/ Players to Watch these players can contribute to the team right away in some sort of way, but there isnt enough room for everyone so they'll have to battle it out for their spots, we all know what everyone brings to the table and the value of each player and their contribution to the team.
If only the NFL would allow an expansion on roster spots to 56 and the Practice Squad to 10 then it would make it easier to make a prefect team.........................
