Pondering on the Cleveland Brown's latest off season move, left me asking a few simple questions, "When was the last time an NFL team reached into the 1st round for a Supplemental pick?" The 1992 NY Giants for QB Dave Brown.
"How many times have the Bengals taken a player in the Supplement draft?" Only Once, in 2006, LB Ahmad Brooks.
"Who contributed the most to his team?" Probably WR Chris Carter. A 4th round pick for a future Hall of Famer, well, some day when the election committee wakes up and enshrines Carter.
"The biggest bust?" Also taken in the same Supplemental Draft as Chris Carter. Back in 1987, the Seahawks tossed away their 1st round pick on Brian Bosworth. At least humanity got to witness that awesome movie career of "The BoZ" thanks to the Seahawks and the buzz generated from his short NFL career.
