I posed a question on Twitter earlier tonight that I thought could generate a good reaction/debate among the hardcore Cincy Jungle crowd. The question is really simple, but it defines people in a way. It's not bad. It's not anything, to be honest. Just an interesting case study of the psyche of Bengals fans (so Woo! need not apply).
Which statement best represents your perspective:
"The Bengals have reached the playoffs in three of the past eight seasons."
"The Bengals have reached the playoffs in three of the past 22 seasons."
You can one-up the question by saying "The Bengals haven't won a playoff game since 1990" if you want, but that's something every Bengals fan would respond with (as if we somehow don't remember that).
