The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Thursday that they signed rookie cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris out of Tennessee-Chattanooga. It's his first NFL contract and Geoff Hobson speculates that it's a direct reflection of Dre Kirkpatrick's injury, as well as the slow recovery with Nate Clements, who missed offseason workouts with an abdominal strain.
Lewis-Harris generated five career interceptions in four seasons at Tennessee-Chattanooga, including 10 passes defensed and three fumbles recovered.
