Jordan Shipley has not been cleared to return from the ACL injury which knocked him out of the 2011 season, but according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, he feels good to go.

Wide receiver Jordan Shipley. Coming off a torn ACL, said he worked out Thursday morning and he feels good enough to return. But he says he might not be out there Friday and isn't sure when they'll clear him...

Shipley will more than likely fill the slot receiver position for the Cincinnati Bengals, but health remains a big question after tearing both his ACL and MCL. Shipley was productive as a rookie in 2010, catching 52 passes for 600 yards and three touchdowns, but was limited to only four catches for 14 yards last season before he was placed on injured reserve.

When cleared, Shipley will find himself in a crowded depth chart position. Brandon Tate, Armon Binns, Ryan Whalen, Andrew Hawkins, and rookies Mohammad Sanu and Marvin Jones will all be fighting for snaps this training camp.
