The Cincinnati Reds won their eighth straight game on Friday, beating the Colorado Rockies 3-0 behind a strong pitching performance from Bronson Arroyo. Sitting at 59-40, the Reds are tied with the Washington Nationals for the best record in the National League.
MLS Soccer: Dallas vs. Los Angeles (8:00 PM, NBC Sports)
Los Angeles is only three points behind third-place Vancouver while Dallas is trying to stay out of the Western Conference basement.
