As reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Cincinnati Bengal defensive end Antwan Odom is preparing for a comeback in the NFL.
Antwan Odom never played a full season for the Bengals, but he sure made a splash, both good and bad, within the organization during his stint. On the positive side, he was a defensive force who once sacked Aaron Rodgers FIVE TIMES (!!!) in one game. On the negative side, everything else: a shoulder injury, Achilles injury, wrist injury and league mandated suspension. And after his time in Cincinnati, a gun shot wound and drug arrest. Oh, and his house burned down.
Odom is now 30 years old and has not played professional football since 2010. Any interested teams should be able to take a cheap flyer on Odom and hope he could replicate the effort he briefly showed in Cincinnati. It doesn't seem likely the Bengals would be one of those interested teams.
