Bengals Defensive End Carlos Dunlap Suffered A Knee Sprain Against The Jets

Stay connected for news and updates

At one point early during Cincinnati's preseason opener against the New York Jets, starting players were leaving the game with knee injuries. Travelle Wharton was carted off. Rey Maualuga was helped off with two trainers. Carlos Dunlap grabbed his knee with 10:31 remaining in the first quarter and remained on the field for what seemed like eternity.

After a few minutes Dunlap walked off under his own power, but he wouldn't return.

Thankfully the news isn't severe. According to Jason La Canfora with CBSSports.com, Dunlap suffered a knee sprain.
