Cedric Benson Officially Signs A One-Year Deal With The Green Bay Packers

Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson officially signed a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, tweets ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Benson spent four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, generating 4,176 yards rushing, 21 touchdowns and a 3.8 yard/rush average. Benson had been expected to signed with the Packers all weekend, joining a thin roster at running back.

The Bengals will host the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, August 23 at Paul Brown Stadium.
