At the same time that Marvin Lewis told the media that defensive end Carlos Dunlap will miss four weeks because of a knee sprain that he sustained against the Jets, he also divulged information on an injury that we were previously unaware of. Starting running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis will be out of the game against the Atlanta Falcons this Thursday because of a sore foot.
It's just another injury to yet another position group that can't afford to incur one. Besides Green-Ellis, the Bengals are also missing Bernard Scott who is set to miss the entire preseason with a hand injury. We are likely to see extensive work from Brian Leonard, Cedric Peerman, Aaron Brown and/or Dan Herron on Thursday night.
