The Atlanta Falcons lead the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 13-10 after the first half of play. The Bengals struck first when Mike Nugent made a long field goal, and then the Falcons tied the game after kicking a field goal of their own. The Bengals once again took the lead on a 50-yard pass from Andy Dalton to A.J. Green, but Matt Ryan answered back on a pass-heavy drive that was finished off by a short touchdown pass to the fullback.
Once both teams turned things over to their second-string offenses, it was the Falcons that took over the game by stopping Bruce Gradkowski and the Bengals on their second-quarter drive and then moved the ball into field-goal position where they settled for three points and a 13-10 lead.
Now is the time where we get to see which backups will solidify their spot on the roster and which ones won't be making the team. The second half is coming up, discuss away.
