Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga. Knee sprain. Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap. Knee spain. Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham? According to Joe Reedy with the Cincinnati Enquirer, it's a knee sprain with a severity somewhere between Dunlap and Maualuga. Dunlap could miss the first regular season game of the year against Baltimore, however Maualuga has said he intends to play against Green Bay this Thursday. He didn't practice on Sunday.
Gresham hurt his knee on a 25-yard reception from Andy Dalton in the first quarter of Cincinnati's 24-19 win over Atlanta Thursday night. After shrugging off one tackle and spinning off another, Gresham tried breaking free from an ankle tackle and sprained his right knee when he over-extended his leg.
It doesn't seem likely that we'll see Gresham for the rest of the preseason.
