Apparently sports is a fashion show after all.
Through a committee of judges, Uni Watch releases a power rankings that grades and ranks each uniform in the big four professional sports. And since they tend to favor green and "old-design" uniforms, teams like the Cincinnati Bengals have serious violations with fashion faux pas. It's almost as bad as wearing socks with sandels
According to their power rankings, the Cincinnati Bengals uniform rank No. 121, worst in the NFL and second-worst in professional sports.
How bad are the Bengals' uniforms? So bad that the term "Bengalian" has become part of the vernacular here at Uni Watch HQ (as in "That design is a disaster of Bengalian proportions"). Even if you like the helmet design -- and not everybody does -- the stripe motif on the rest of the uniform is way out of hand, and can someone -- anyone -- explain why the black jersey has those white side panels? Or why they sometimes insist on going black-over-black? Blow it all up and start over.
I actually like the black-on-black. Oh well. Suppose we won't win the pretty colored uniform award this year.
Back to manly things. Like the cover-two, linebacker blitz, crossing patterns, Power O runs and picking our noses and wiping our finger under the desk of an irritated coworker.
