Following a Clay Mathews deflection at the line of scrimmage, Andy Dalton scrambles up the middle, avoiding tackles, juking players before shifting towards the left sidelines completing the 28-yard run out of bounds. Brian Leonard picked up another seven yards, setting up a second-and-nine from Green Bay's seven-yard line.

A quick drop and Dalton flings the pass to Brandon Tate on a hitch, hauling in the nine-yard reception to Green Bay's 24-yard line.

Eventually Cincinnati's offense stalled.

Following a one-yard loss by Brian Leonard, Dalton tried easing the football to Armon Binns down the right sidelines, overthrowing his receiving into the endzone setting up third-and-11 from the 25-yard line. Dalton pump faked the football with :28 seconds remaining in the first quarter, scanning the field and then throwing an incomplete to Brian Leonard.
