Bengals center Kyle Cook reportedly suffered a serious injury against the Green Bay Packers. After visiting with specialists, the prognosis looks extremely grim.

Bengals center Kyle Cook missed recent practices following Green Bay's win over Cincinnati last Thursday. He reportedly visited with foot specialists on Monday afternoon. Local 12 Sports Director Brad Johansen tweets that Cook's season could be over.

Center Jeff Faine, visiting with the Bengals on Tuesday, is a 31-year old veteran recently released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played nearly every snap last season with Tampa Bay, generating a -0.1 pass blocking score, per Pro Football Focus, but a -11.2 in the running game.

Trevor Robinson is going to start against the Indianapolis Colts during the preseason finale.

Cook was placed on IR with a toe injury during a pregame collision against the Dallas Cowboys in 2008.
