The Cincinnati Bengals generated several infirmary notes from Thursday's practice, the first hosted inside of Paul Brown Stadium. Place-kicker Mike Nugent, on the Active/PUP list since the start of training camp, returned to the field on Thursday. As did Brandon Tate, who had missed three straight practices since leaving Saturday's session early.
However cornerback Brandon Ghee left with a possible hand injury while running back Bernard Scott and wide receiver Ryan Whalen left practice early. Also defensive end Robert Geathers missed his fifth straight session and rookie cornerback Shaun Prater missed his fourth consecutive practice.
Cincinnati Bengals Training Camp Update: Practice No. 6
Here's an unofficial list of who has participated during practice at training camp thus far:

+ Though some are resistant to drinking the "Bengals expanding the scouting department kool-aid" (technically they added one, so that is an expansion), it does appear that the team could shifting some development in that department.
+ Jordan Shipley is a little behind the other wide receivers, but could easily secure his spot as the team's slot receiver.
+ We discussed offensive tackle Andre Smith and the question about a contract extension. Speaking of which. After dominating Carlos Holmes during Oklahoma Drills, Andre Smith said: It was a mutual understanding.
+ Bengals linebacker has been rushing off the edges more during base formations during training camp.
+ Football Outsiders breaks down their advanced statistics to includes quarterback performances under pressure.
+ Is Marvin Jones really an "odds-on favorite" to make the squad?
+ The Cleveland Browns are officially under new management. And yes, we know that Peyton Hillis is with the Kansas City Chiefs. We were just too tempted to use that picture.
