Bengals running back Bernard Scott missed Friday's practice after leaving Thursday's session early with what was appeared to be a hand injury. Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com notes that as practice completed on Friday, Scott's arm was wrapped signifying that this injury could be around for a bit.
Possibly just be a deep bruise. More will be posted as it's learned soon enough. Scott is expected to be the second punch of a one-two combination within an offensive philosophy featuring a committee at running back. And despite playing 45 of a possible 48 games during his young NFL career, the threat of injury hovers over him like a dark rain cloud.
