When the Cincinnati Bengals signed center veteran center Jeff Faine, the team needed to make room on the roster. Reports were originally that Cincinnati released defensive tackle Nick Hayden, but were later corrected to wide receiver Justin Hilton. The rookie out of Indiana State caught his first preseason pass against the Green Bay Packers, a 30-yard reception from Tyler Hansen, also released from the team. Unfortunately for Hilton the business aspect of the NFL squeezed him off the team.
On Wednesday Hilton tweeted a hearty thanks to the team, the coaches, teammates and the fans.
