The Bengals are hurting so much at cornerback right now that they've moved rookie wide receiver Taveon Rogers to the secondary -- at least temporarily. Though the injuries that the cornerbacks are dealing with aren't serious, in regards to missing time for the upcoming regular season, they're having an issue filling spots during practice.
The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Saturday that they signed cornerback T.J. Heath on Saturday. Heath, a former player at Jacksonville State, played five games last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Heath participated during only one defensive snap last year, so a majority of his work came on special teams. The Jaguars released him earlier this week on August 1.
