UPDATE: Terrell Owens has signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, per Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
As we relayed word earlier today, former Bengals, Bills, Cowboys, Eagles, and 49ers wide receiver Terrell Owens was in Seattle for a workout with the Seahawks. Per multiple sources, Owens' workout went well and he is contract negotiations with the Seahawks. No contract has been signed as of yet.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com and Mike Sando of ESPN, T.O. reportedly run a sub-4.5 second time in the forty-yard dash and looks to be fully healed from his knee injury that he sustained in late 2010. Much like their quarterback situation, the Seahawks' wide receiver position is in flux. There are concerns about Sidney Rice and the team doesn't seem to know what it has in former second round pick, Golden Tate.
While T.O. would be able to help a team out, even at his age, the character concerns have to be taken into account. His one tumultuous year in Cincinnati aside, we would like to see Owens sign a contract to get catch up his finances, as those have been in disarray as of late.
