Bengals cornerback Adam Jones rested much of last week with a hamstring, forcing him to miss both scrimmages over the weekend; though he did play catch on a couple of punts.
Considering how banged up the team's cornerback position is right now -- which resulted in the team's signing of T.J. Heath, moving a wide receiver to cornerback -- the team could benefit with the return of a handful of cornerbacks dealing with light degrees of muscle tightness. If anything it seems that this year's training camp is far more scaled back than I can remember.
One of those players, the before-mentioned Jones, returned on Tuesday -- which Marvin Lewis prophesied last week. Also rookie running back Daniel Herron, who hasn't been on the field since last Thursday, is practicing on Tuesday.
