During practice last week Bengals cornerback left the field with an obvious injury around the hand area. Not only did he sit out the following practice, reports surfaced that a possible broken wrist could keep him out for an extended period of time. Even head coach Marvin Lewis refused to give an answer when asked if Ghee would return at some point this season.

Unfortunately these things, those clouded with such uncertainty and to some degree secrecy, tend to end badly for the person that the reports highlight.

In a report that largely summarizes the day on Tuesday, the mothership hints that speculation is rising that Ghee may be out for the year. Something that's becoming obvious as reports slowly bubbled to the surface over the last couple days. If it ends up becoming true, it would be an unfortunate end for a player looking to rebound a very slow NFL career. How many more times can one say, there's always next year?
