Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has been playing things really close to the vest this Training Camp. It's almost Belichick-esque, actually. What Lewis is being particularly coy about is on the injury front. We learned earlier on Wednesday that cornerback Brandon Ghee's status is a bit up in the air right now, and that his wrist injury will be re-evaluated in a few weeks.
Running back Bernard Scott is in the same boat as Ghee right now. All that we've heard to this point is that Scott had a cast-like wrap around his arm after practice and that he won't be available for a few weeks. Though Lewis has ordered Scott to keep quiet about the injury, we know a little bit more now.

Ghee hasn't been around, but running back
Bernard Scott was at his locker, his hand also in a cast. He can't comment on the injury per Lewis' orders, but there seems to be a belief he'll be available shortly after the preseason.
It's a bit unclear as to what this means at this point. "Shortly after the preseason" could mean that Scott could miss the Monday Night Football season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens. It could also mean that they've told Scott to just lay low and heal up throughout the preseason, so that he's a full-go for the regular season. We'll have to wait and see how this unfolds, but it does appear that Scott will be available early on in the 2012 regular season.
