Many of the usual suspects that rehabilitated respective (and somewhat infuriating) injuries most of the preseason are out during the regular season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night. Cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick and Jason Allen and running back Bernard Scott missed the entire preseason and defensive end Carlos Dunlap missed all but five minutes, were expected to sit. Donald Lee, dealing with a thigh, was limited during two practices this week, is out meaning that rookie Orson Charles will be the first tight end off the bench. Cincinnati will have six active wide receivers, with the seventh, Ryan Whalen sitting.
Linebacker Rey Maualuga, cornerback Adam Jones, defensive end Robert Geathers, and tight end Jermaine Gresham, all of whom missed significant time since training camp will suit up.
