BALTIMORE, MD - SEPTEMBER 10: Wide receiver Anquan Boldin #81 of the Baltimore Ravens catches a 34-yard touchdown pass against defensive back Taylor Mays #26 of the Cincinnati Bengals in the second quarter at M&T Bank Stadium on September 10, 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland. Wide receivers and tight ends have been running free all Monday evening. Some of the big plays' responsibility have lied with strong safety Taylor Mays, who has been beaten on numerous plays and had a stupid helmet-to-helmet penalty in the first half. In short, the Bengals defense hasn't had an answer for the Ravens offense.
As a result, Mike Zimmer has replaced Mays for Jeromy Miles. The former UMass safety has been a special teamer in his time here, but has impressed this preseason. We're not sure if this is just an in-game adjustment or a permanent one, but Miles has had extensive playing time in the second half.
