- Hawkins came to play. The man has no quit nor fear. Baby Hawk became a honey badger in my eyes last night.
- Lawfirm also enunciated his case last night. He's not a downgrade at running back, he's not even equal to Cedric Benson. BenJarvus Green-Ellis is better. "Got trouble making a First-Down? Better call the Lawfirm."
- Did some of the Offensive Line quit on Dalton in the 2nd half? Andre Smith's time in Cincinnati could be over after 2012.
- The Bengals currently lack a #1 cornerback. The ghost of Jonathan Joseph still haunts this team. Hall needs time to comeback from his 2011 injury. Nate lacks the speed of his youth but can play some football. Will the Bengals be a better team with Nate at strong safety rather than cornerback? Kirkpatrick may not contribute much in his rookie season. Depth at cornerback creaks from age and lacks speed.
- Tate's returns will continue to make Bengals fans nervous in 2012. Tate dances as if a drunken cat at times while managing to make mental mistakes at other moments. He seems to doubt his own abilities when he shouldn't, while overconfident in his abilities when he shouldn't be. An NFL returner possessing veteran's knowledge and a rookie's judgement?
- Ray Maualuga Where Are You? Rey disappeared versus the Baltimore run game last night, much like he did versus the Ravens in 2011. Maualuga remains a mystery.
