First of all, I'm not panicking here. But I came up with an idea (I'm probably not the first one to have this idea).

Let's say there would be a team willing to trade for Rey Maualuga. He is in a contract year and is not really making an argument for resigning him at the moment (trade deadline was moved to week 8, right? So there is another 7 weeks to evaluate). His trade value would probably be around 3rd to 4th round and we would have one less guy to resign to an expensive contract.

Would you trade him and make Burfict the starter (and, for example, resign Muckelroy as a backup)?

I honestly think this is a realistic scenario if Rey doesn't step his game up until the bye week. What do you guys think? Realistic or am I completely dreaming? ;)
