Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jordan Shipley re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday, announced the Buccaneers on the team's website. Shipley replaced guard Derek Hardman, who was released earlier in the day.
The Cincinnati Bengals released Shipley on August 17, but he quickly found a home in Tampa Bay after the Buccaneers claimed Shipley through waivers. He generated two receptions for 16 yards receiving in two preseason games before he was released during final cuts. Before signing with the Buccaneers, Shipley was one of 19 free agents that worked out for the Giants after New York lost the regular season opener.
