When the Cincinnati Bengals waived wide receiver Kashif Moore on August 27, it reduced their roster to a maximum 75 players at the time. Fortunately for him, he wasn't without a team for long. In fact the team listed No. 1 on the waiver wire pounced, claiming Moore the day after he was waived. You may not have noticed (not many people watch the second half of the fourth preseason game), but Moore participated against the Bengals during the preseason finale on Thursday, posting a 15-yard reception.
Though he didn't make Indianapolis' 53-man roster, the Colts signed Moore to the team's practice squad on Saturday.
Moore is the third Bengals player to sign with a different team recently. The Dallas Cowboys announced on Saturday that they won a waiver claim on tight end Colin Cochart. Jordan Shipley was released two weeks ago, claimed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but later released.
