A couple ideas.. tell me what you think.
Wow what a call?! so much money went to the wrong people between bets, fantasy football, contests.. vegas..
First, I'm curious if the refs see the same thing we see on tv?
IF so, why not put a detailed clock or frame number on each camera angle? In contested plays where you have to look back and forth between angles to see when they were down, you'd be able to see with certainty when the ball was fumbled for example and when he was down and compare.
Second, this has been said before. Its always easier to play referee from the couch or the studio, why not have a ref(s) in the box watching and buzzing down to stop mistakes and missed calls they'd be the last word on the matter as far as refs go at least. Make more of these calls challengeable. They would be under the same time constraints as the regular refs.
They say they want better officiating. Put your money where your mouth is.
