Breaking news began surfacing late Thursday night that a deal has been reached between the NFL and the NFL Referees Association.

The National Football League and the NFL Referees Association have reportedly reached an agreement Wednesday night. According to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, the regular officials will work Thursday night's game between the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens on the NFL Network.

Greg Aiello, the National Football League PR man tweeted that a deal has been reached.

More details will surely follow and the NFL Network is reporting that while the deal is reached, it's not finalized. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that the deal will be signed at some point early Thursday morning.

So rest easy friends -- specifically Bengals fans. Granted there were several mistakes during the course of Cincinnati's games (perhaps no more than the regular officials), we really dodged a bullet from having any games decided by a poor decision from the replacements.
