While talking to journalists about his $15,000 fine for a horse collar tackle last weekend, Bengals cornerback Adam Jones also revealed that had been fined $75,000 during an offseason incident in which we was arrested and charged for disorderly conduct at a local bar in early July last year.
Jones, who denied any wrong-doing at the time, pleaded guilty earlier this year in mid-January, was sentenced to 50 hours of community service, one-year of probation and a $250 fine.

For those reacting that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has it out for Adam Jones and his history, one should note this. New York Jets safety LaRon Landry was fined $15,750 dollars by the NFL after his horse collar tackle against Antonio Brown this week.
Two weeks ago Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Tyron Smith was fined $15,000 for a horse collar tackle on linebacker Michael Boley during the regular season opener.
Last week Washington Redskins linebacker Lorenzo Alexander was fined $15,750 for a horse collar tackle of wide receiver Danny Amendola in week two.

Bengals cornerback Adam Jones confirmed with journalists on Thursday that the league fined him $15,000 for a horse collar tackle against the Washington Redskins last Sunday.
Jones told reporters that he'll appeal the decision, but as Kevin Kelly tweets, Jones "isn't optimistic that it'll get overturned."
