Panthers Ask Permission To Speak With Hue Jackson; Jets Are Also Interested

The Carolina Panthers, who lost their offensive coordinator to the Cleveland Browns, is wants to speak with Hue Jackson while the New York Jets reportedly also have interest.

With Rob Chudzinski becoming the newest head coach for the Cleveland Browns Thursday night, its left an opening for offensive coordinator in Carolina. According to Albert Breer with the NFL Network, Carolina has requested permission to speak with Bengals assistant secondary and special teams coach Hue Jackson.

Breer also tweets that the New York Jets have expressed interest in Jackson, likely due to the coaching link in Baltimore when Rex Ryan, now the Jetes head coach, was the defensive coordinator.
