It's been somewhat common knowledge that the Arizona Cardinals will interview Jay Gruden this coming week, but hasn't been confirmed by the team.
That confirmation has come.
According to the Arizona Cardinals website, the team has confirmed that they're interviewing Gruden this week. He joins a candidacy that includes Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and defensive coordinator Ray Horton with former Chiefs head coach and current Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley being attached.
Last year Gruden was a candidate for several head coaching vacancies but declined interviews.
