Lovin it but let's not get ahead of ourselves - there's a long way to go to the playoffs...

I have and still maintain that there will be only one team from the AFCN in the playoffs this year - after having the luxury of 2-3 slots over the past several years. That means that we are looking at a 2-horse race with the Ravens for the spot. Because the blowing hot media is talking about the Bengals "running away with it" in the wake of the dismantling of the Jets, I put together a reasonable look at the rest of the season (since the playoff generator won't be on line for a few weeks) just to show how much work there is to be done starting with the upcoming Dolphins game on Thursday.

Obviously wins and losses are subjective and can be radically altered by injury and the bounce of the ball. The point is that it is quite reasonable to assume that the season, as well as the Bengals have played thus far, can still easily come down to the last game of the season. The team in bold is the team that goes to the playoffs...
