Bengals to be on NFL Films' "NFL Turning Point" show on NBC Sports Network Wednesday 10/9

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

This is awesome. It's rare that the Bengals would already be featured twice this early in the year, the first time being the Packers game from week 3. Usually it's close, compelling games which are the select few featured on the show, and both the Packers and Patriots games qualified for that, so I'll gladly take it. Just like in Week 3, we'll probably get 10-15 minutes of air time for the Bengals, both awesome NFL Films cinematography as well as in-depth play analysis and coaches' film. They also feature pregame, sideline, and locker-room sound. You can think of Turning Point as an in-season version of Hard Knocks, for those who watched it.

You can tune in to NBCSN tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 9) at 10 pm ET. I'll be watching, and I'll designate this as the open thread for those who are watching too.

UPDATE: It will start at 11 pm ET, confirmed through NFL Films' official website (http://nflfilms.nfl.com/2013/10/09/tonight-on-nfl-turning-point-2/ ). The other two featured games from this past week will be, not surprisingly, the Broncos-Cowboys and Colts-Seahawks.

Here's the press release link:

NFL Turning Point studies the Patriots-Bengals game this past Sunday. The segment examines how the Bengals defense stopped Tom Brady and kept him out of the end zone, which ultimately ended his record for consecutive games with a touchdown thrown.
