The stretch drive - what do our Bengals need to do these last five games to potentially win out and get a first round bye.
Dreaming (or posting) about a new QB/OC with millions of posts is not happening (and gets a little old) so a little more realistic look.
Coaching Staff
Use the break to see what's working/what's not - a breather can help bring some clarity to what needs to be done
Probably just make sure the offense is diversified. Cut out the plays (if their is commonality) that are resulting in INT's
Offense
Dalton - get more on the same page w/AJ. Don't force ball to AJ. Don't let the media/fans get to you. Listen to coaches with advice from above.
AJ - See above. Drop a few less balls.
Marvin Jones/Sanu - About the same - drop a few less balls
Hawkins - get in the rotation and make some plays
Gresham - drop a few less balls and stop the idiotic penalties
Gio/Eifert - Take that "next step" as rookies - even a 1/2 step would do - they are having strong rookie seasons
OL - Stay healthy
You look at the offense - and although all anyone wants to talk about is Dalton - the real key is the entire group (including Dalton) just play a little better - fewer drops, fewer penalties, fewer missed routes
Defense
Stay Healthy - and get Still/Malugau back
Dre/Ghee - get in the rotation (and stay healthy)
Special Teams
Nugent - you missed about 1 or 2 too many in first 11 games - don't miss as many in last 5
Overall - no rocket science here - and no unrealistic expectations - if the D maintains and the offense as a unit plays a little more in sync they will finish strong and a fist round bye and a playoff run is possible
