I was just wondering if anyone had an answer to why NFL lineman do not wear knee braces like they do in college. I have not looked up any stats on knee injuries in college football and I'm a casual fan when it comes to college mainly because I hate the BCS and am just really always reading about the Bengals on saturdays. But I notice it seems like players in college seldom have as many acl/mcl injuries on the line. I watch Ohio State and cant remember a time when not all of their OL were wearing a brace. I'm not sure if they even help reduce major injuries but they have to be wearing them for some reason. I understand players in the NFL are faster, stronger and hit harder so we'll see more injuries but I just wish we could strap some knee braces on our players to be on the safe side. Sorry if this question has been asked before.
