Okay people, it's over for the millionth time our Bengals have fallen on their collective faces. It happened, I'm avoiding all major sports media and focusing on next week because I just can't listen to the Bruschis and Harrison's of the world. There's a lot to talk about and many facets we can criticize, but also we need to keep a calm demeanor now that it's over. We got punched in the mouth by the Steelers, the refs, and ourselves. We weren't focused and over confident in a division rivals house. From the botched snap, to the dropped passes, to just getting out manned on the LOS. I still have confidence in the playoff run, I still trust Zim, and I still think Dre will start next year. It's just a bad game. On Dre, I think Zim had the training wheels on.. He was focused on helping Dre, and not calling his gameplan, I don't fault Dre though as he always seems to be going toe to toe with top notch WR. He is an elite athlete and just needs to bend his knees to tackle, he's going to be a TO machine when he masters the Zimmer technique. On Jays Offense, we need to remember how young this is, 3 years old. That's Jays experience in the NFL so far, I think he's a good mind that's learning. Dalton played well, I'm really happy with him these last two weeks. I love Marvin Lewis, honestly, I do. Good guy, with a good football mind. Im all for offering him a GM position in the FO, but I think this team needs a fire starter as its coach and I believe Mike Zimmer is exactly the guy. With Marv to mediate MB and Zim, I think he would give this team some hellfire and brimstone that it desperately needs. If Jay gets a HC job, I would like to see Gary Kubiak in there as a candidate, Gio would flourish if Kubiak could modify his Zone run scheme just a little for AFCN defenses. As an in house option H. Jackson is a solid option.
