Bengals playoff scenario simplified

If Cincy beats Baltimore in week 17, the Bengals win the AFC North.

The win would assure that the Bengals finish with at least 1 more win than the Ravens
Cincy is 2 games up on Pittsburgh, so 1 win would keep the Bengals ahead of the Steelers

If Cincy loses to Baltimore...they need help to make the playoffs

+ They need to beat the Vikings AND need Baltimore to lose in week 16, to win the AFC North
+ They need to beat the Vikings AND need the Dolphins to lose at least one game, to win the wildcard
+ They can lose to the Vikings IF the Dolphins lose their last 2 games.

So if Cincinnati takes care of business in week 17 (at home, against Baltimore), and they make the playoffs.
But if Cincinnati loses to Baltimore in week 17, then they are going to need help from Baltimore, and or Miami

Beating the Vikings will be nice, but without a win vs. Baltimore to follow it, the win could become meaningless.
