Andy Dalton silences the critics as the offense bails out the Stellar Defense.

Dalton played a very good game. In my view the best game of the season for Dalton. In the second half of the game. The Colts stole the momentum. However Andy Dalton and the Bengals offence did not waiver. They kept the pedal to the metal! At the end the game was not as close as the score suggested. The last drive by Andrew LUCK and company was garbage yards. Good for Andrews overall stats. From my prospective the Cincinnati D was just wanting to get out of there without any further injuries. That being said, as a huge fan I'm worried about the depth at defensive back. Chris Crocker is too long in the tooth to play safety. No disrespect to Crocker, but the only reason he is playing in the NFL is because he knows the defensive scheme very well. There is a huge difference in playing nickel back and safety. Then there is the issue with Newman's injury. He has had a very solid year. How do you replace and account for these key defensive injuries on the Bengals Defense? I hope and pray that the "Next man up" continues to be as viable in the secondary as it as been on the D-line and in the Line Backer groups. This could be a big deal.
