Would this be a realistic signing for the Bengals? I know he is about to wrap up what I believe to be a Hall of Fame career and we already have some some old dogs that don't hunt to well on the roster but I believe Woodson still has good football left in him. I believe we still draft a Safety early, hopefully Vaccaro. Woodson would be a great mentor and I believe he would embrace that role. He is coming off of a broken collarbone so he didn't get to play much football last year, he should be healthy and well rested. Bringing in the 2009 Defensive Player of the Year would be a great signing for the right price. Remember that this is not a Terence Newman or a Nate Clements, Woodson can still ball and would solidify our secondary, mentor our young DB's, be a leader in the locker room and for a defense, been a proven winner and has playoff experience. This would also free us up to take a Safety in rounds 3-7 if we don't get a chance at the safety we really want because like I said, I believe he still has 2-3 years of football left in him.
