Forget taking Lacy in the first round...it's a reach and we all know it. But if he were to fall to 2a or even 2b (if for some reason his stock drops a bit) which would you prefer?
And don't say both.
The question has more to do with how free agency will free up the draft. Successful running backs come in all rounds, so wouldn't it make sense to avoid taking one so early? Especially if Chris Ivory is made available (restricted free agent, but due to cap concerns Saints may have to let him go). Ivory is 25 with few miles under his belt. Guy can run and catch with the best of them. I'm thinking Law Firm, Ivory, and a speedster back taken in the third sounds pretty good to me. As a result, the first three picks could address S, LB, and DE or OL.
